Flurry of activity as we wrap up the semester
ImageThe next few weeks will be jam-packed for all MID students as we simultaneously prepare for our exhibition opening on April 30, our crits the following week, our final papers and due May 7, and continue to reach out for internships and jobs. For the first year's it's been a fun semester, especially in our Interactivity class with Slavko Milekic. Many students are wrapping up their programming for the interactive projects to get them ready for the opening. The second years are preparing for their thesis defense and completing books about their projects. It will be great to see it all come together and to hear what everyone's been working on all semester instead of seeing bits and pieces in at people's workspaces. Unfortunately, there will probably be many late nights before that happens, and the battle against the forces that make a mess in the studio will rage on.
