Shopping list for incoming 1st years

Attention incoming MID 1st years! Here's a heads up about things you may want to purchase before classes start up in the fall. In addition to a macbook pro for school work and assignments (a regular mac probably won't have a big enough hard drive), a good digital SLR camera will come in very, very handy, as well as a usb storage drive with lots of space on it.  The first few weeks may be disorienting, but it will help if you can document whatever is going on in your projects with photos, and share them easily with your teammates. The nerf gun will help relieve some of the stress/disorientation and fend off attacks by 2nd years. Other helpful things not pictured: a mouse for your laptop, an HD video camera (if your phone does not have that capability), and the lack of a social life once September rolls around, but don't worry, we take breaks for fun stuff besides Nerf wars.
