Corzo Center's Effective Business Plan Workshop

This past Thursday, October 21, The Corzo Center for the Creative Economy and Terry Collison hosted an interactive workshop covering real-world business plan fundamentals. The evening's group of approximately 30 participants spent three hours directly engaging the workshop's three steps: description, analysis and prescription, to finely-tune their business plans. There was lively discussion, collaborative teamwork, presentation and critique which left everyone feeling better prepared to communicate their ideas clearly and economically.

Some discussion points included key risks (including how to surmount them), venture funding stages, effective descriptive writing and perhaps most importantly, how to engage in a planning process that won't interfere with the writing process.
