B.A. Modern Philosophy

Biography

Coming to industrial design with a B.A. in philosophy from Binghamton University, I am comfortable deconstructing challenging problems. My artistic background in photography and professional experience in the magazine publishing industry inform my spirit of collaboration and adaptability.

I came to the masters program at UArts with a desire to leverage design beyond materials to process. The projects in my portfolio reflect my interest in bringing design solutions to non-traditional challenges: last year, responsible waste management and now, re-imagining the future of shopping malls.

My aim is to improve the quality of our everyday lives with analytical problem solving and sensitivity to aesthetics. I’d like to put my skills to use in the Philadelphia community but also encourage professionals from a range of specializations to see how an industrial designer can help improve their operations. Please see my other projects and visit my website for more information.
